In this, my last Monday morning greeting for 2017, I am wishing you a peaceful Christmas and continued blessings for the coming year.
Although Christmas is a time of joy and celebration for many, it is also a time of sadness, loneliness, and regret for others. However even those of us who are not as happy as we hoped to be, it is important to count our blessings and show love to others.
Regardless of any misgivings, we might have about the past year, it would be wise for us to make a conscious decision to make 2018 the best year ever. We might not succeed completely, but through positive thoughts, asking for support, focusing on the good things in our lives we will be able to move forward with confidence and gusto during the coming year.
Remembering that Jesus was born in that humble manger so that we could have peace and love, even during the challenging times, we are justified in going forward with hope and determination with the knowledge that Jesus’ birthday means much more than reindeers and snowmen. Have a blessed Christmas
